LEAF Offers Workplace Well-Being Training at No Cost to Local Businesses


LEAF is proud to offer mental health support to businesses through our Team Awareness NY program! If you’re a manager, supervisor, business owner, or executive, consider booking one of our trainings to help support a healthy workplace culture.

Studies show that mental health issues can pose significant challenges to both employers and employees. The loss of productivity due to burnout, fatigue, and stress can add up to thousands of dollars lost.

Burnout and mental health concerns can also contribute to employee turnover. Additionally, chronic stress can put employees at risk for substance use and other unhealthy behaviors.

Consider offering one of our programs to your team. In our experience, and through collaboration with Organizational Wellness & Learning Systems (OWLS), we’ve found that these programs improve employees’ understanding and awareness of mental health concerns.

Whether the issue is stress, burnout, substance use, or another mental health concern, prevention is one of the best ways to tackle the challenge before it gets out of hand. Teams will be equipped with actionable tools to improve their lives and work cultures. 

What to Expect at a Team Awareness NY Training

Our trainings can be provided virtually or in person. Our staff will work with you to identify your team’s needs and help you select from our different topic areas. A few of our current offerings include:

  • “Ripple Effect of Wellbeing,” which focuses on the interconnectivity between the self, workplace, and community;
  • “Resilience and Thriving,” which helps employees identify stressors and develop healthy coping skills;
  • “Empowered Health Consciousness,” which focuses on healthy lifestyles and educates employees about substance misuse.

Portions of these programs may be combined into a custom training. If you do business in Central New York, our program facilitators are local, knowledgeable, and responsive to your specific needs.

At any of our trainings, you can expect to learn about emotional well-being, mental health education, workplace culture, the effects of substance use, and tools for coping with stress.

How much time will the trainings take? These trainings can be adapted to your schedule—some companies opt for one-hour lunch-and-learn programs, while others may be able to commit several half days.
