Too Good for Drugs
Too Good for Drugs is an evidence-based prevention program designed to reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco,and other drug (ATOD) use among students K–12.
- Too Good for Drugs includes separate, developmentally appropriate curriculum for each grade level.
- This program develops and strengthens essential life skills: goal setting, decision making, dealing with peer pressure, building healthy relationships, identifying and managing emotions, and communicating effectively.
- Students will learn about the consequences of drug and alcohol use.
- Too Good for Drugs is proven to reduce student risk and increase protective factors, including:
- Attitudes toward ATOD use
- Peer norms relating to ATOD use,
- Peers’ acceptance of ATOD use,
- Emotional competence and sense of self-efficacy, and
- Social and peer resistance skills.
